Description |
This is an original handpainted production cel of Kimba the White Lion. It was used in the episode titled, "The Troublemaker". The cel is presented with a print of the original background for the scene. Click the picture below for additional views.
Please note: This cel shows Kimba ONLY. Benny the ostrich is part of the printed background, to show this cel in its complete context. This 42-year-old cel has some wrinkling.
This original cel is untrimmed and bears the production company's markings "12-8" and "B-10" (covered by the mat). There is no missing paint from the image. The image of Kimba measures approximately 3.25 inches high by 2.75 inches wide. The cel has been mounted and matted to an outside dimension of 11 by 14 inches, ready to insert into any standard-size 11x14 frame.
Only archival quality materials were used in mounting and matting this rare item. The cel has been suspended above the background to minimize the possibility of sticking.
