Offered here is a 4-part item:
  • An original production cel featuring the character known as "Fancy Prancy".
  • A second original production cel featuring many of the characters from the show, including Kimba, Dan'l Baboon, Pauley Cracker, Boss Rhino, Dodie Deer, and others.
  • The original production background created for this scene.
  • A paper "frame" featuring the Sanyo logo--Sanyo was the original sponsor of ths show during its first run in Japan.


Click on the picture above for more views, including a screen capture of the same cel from the TV show itself. The screen capture shows that even the current DVDs do not do full justice to the vibrant colors used in painting these cels and background, which are vibrant even after 44 years.

Please note: This 2-cel + background art lacks the separate cel showing the two moles. The cel of Fancy Prancy is stuck to the cel behind it, and some line detail is missing from the top cel.

These original cels are untrimmed and bears Mushi production's markings (covered by the paper frame). The cels are held in alignment with each other and with the background by staples at the top edge. They are not attached to the paper frame.
