Description
This is an original vintage Japanese child's board book of Jungle Emperor. It measures approximately 10 inches high by 7 inches wide. It is used, and shows signs of use (note the bumped inside corner in the picture below). It is clean for the most part (note the stains on Panja's body in the picture below). There are a few dings and scratches in the covers, but no color is removed.
This book is in very good condition for its age. It has 16 pages and tells the story of the death of Panja and the birth of Kimba (surprisingly, without altering the story like so many books aimed at young children do). Most of the drawings are the same as those included with the original Symphonic Poem LP; those were signed by Osamu Tezuka, although his signature does not appear in this book. |
