This is an original page from a serialization of the Jungle Emperor manga, a reprint from the 1960s. Kimba was rescued from the ocean, but the rats caused such chaos by stealing food for him that the ship's captain throws Kimba back into the sea. Jocko joins him, much to Kimba's delight. This page is clean and only moderately darkened by age. The page is printed in blue ink. There is a light brown stain in the word balloon of panel 43, a light 3/4-inch stain in panel 46, and two small brown stains on the right side of panel 45. This original page measures approximately 9.25 inches by 6.25 inches and has been mounted and matted to an outside dimension of 11 by 14 inches, ready to insert into any standard-size 11x14 frame. Only archival quality materials were used in mounting and matting this rare item. It will be shipped flat. |
