Here is a set, Volume 1 and Volume 2, of original vintage Japanese children's board books of Jungle Emperor. Each measures approximately 10 inches high by 7 inches wide. These books are vintage, from the 1960s, but they are unsued and have the original sales tags inside. Only the edges of the pages are darkened with age. I have never seen either of these books in such great condition, much less a set.

Volume 1 has 16 pages and tells the story of the death of Panja and the birth of Kimba (surprisingly, without altering the story like so many books aimed at young children do). Most of the drawings match those included with the original Symphonic Poem LP; those were signed by Osamu Tezuka, but his signature does not appear in this book.

Volume 2 has 16 pages and shows several scenes from the Jungle Emperor Manga: Kimba's arrival in Africa, getting his father's hide from the hunters, rescuing Kitty from the hunters, saving Kitty from Claw, and the birth of their cubs.
